Single-beam sonar for precise height and ground distance measurement with FIFISH V-ROVs

The QYSEA altimeter for the FIFISH V-Series adds precise bottom-to-water-level measurement to your V6, V6S, V6 Expert, or V6 Plus ROV. This compact single-beam sonar module continuously measures the distance to the seabed, helping you maintain a defined flight altitude, avoid collisions, and perform repeatable inspections – ideal for harbor and bridge checks, pipeline or cable inspections, and surveying and research tasks.

With a measuring range of 0.3 to 5 m, the altimeter reliably determines the distance to the substrate, even in murky water, at night, or in poor visibility conditions where a camera reaches its limits. The module is designed for depths up to 100 m and operates in an extended temperature range of -5 °C to +60 °C , making it ideal for continuous professional use in a wide variety of waters.
